Job Description

As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing Chhap's organic visibility across search engines through technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and off-page initiatives. Your goal is to drive sustainable, high-quality traffic and improve search rankings for key business terms while building scalable SEO systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute Chhap's SEO strategy. Perform keyword research based on business priorities and search demand. Optimize website pages, metadata, internal linking, and content structure. Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers. Improve site speed, crawlability, mobile usability, and indexation. Identify opportunities for content expansion and organic traffic growth. Monitor backlinks and support ethical link-building initiatives. Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and SEO performance metrics. Analyze competitor strategies and identify market gaps. Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to create search-optimized content. Maintain SEO documentation, SOPs, and reporting dashboards. Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Education

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred but not mandatory. SEO certifications and hands-on experience are valued more than formal qualifications.

Key Skills

Keyword research and search intent analysis. On-page and technical SEO. Basic HTML/CSS understanding for SEO implementation. Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Data analysis and reporting. Website architecture and internal linking knowledge. Problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with content and engineering teams.
