Job Description
As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for building, engaging, and nurturing Chhap's creator, customer, and ambassador communities across online and offline channels. Your goal is to foster meaningful relationships, increase participation, gather valuable feedback, and create a loyal ecosystem around the Chhap brand.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage active communities across platforms such as WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
Engage regularly with creators, customers, ambassadors, and partners to encourage participation and loyalty.
Plan and execute contests, webinars, AMAs, meetups, challenges, and community campaigns.
Moderate discussions and ensure healthy, respectful interactions.
Respond to questions, gather feedback, and escalate issues to relevant teams.
Collaborate with Regional Marketing Heads to support campus and ambassador communities.
Work with content and social media teams to increase engagement.
Develop onboarding materials and engagement playbooks for community members.
Track community growth, activity, retention, and satisfaction metrics.
Build SOPs for moderation, communication, and crisis handling.
Identify advocates and power users who can help expand Chhap's ecosystem.
Required Skills & Education
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Psychology, Public Relations, or a related field preferred but not mandatory. Strong community leadership experience may substitute for formal education.
Key Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication. Relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Conflict resolution and moderation abilities. Event planning and community engagement.
