Job Description

As the Vendor Management Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, managing, and evaluating Chhap's network of manufacturing partners, suppliers, and service providers. Your objective is to ensure that vendors consistently meet quality, cost, delivery, and compliance expectations while building long-term relationships that support Chhap's scale.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers. Maintain strong relationships with existing vendor partners. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, production capacity, and service-level agreements. Monitor vendor performance based on quality, turnaround time, cost, and reliability. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely execution of customer orders. Resolve operational issues and escalate risks proactively. Conduct periodic vendor reviews and recommend improvements. Maintain vendor databases, documentation, contracts, and compliance records. Work closely with quality control teams to address recurring issues. Develop SOPs for vendor onboarding, evaluation, and communication. Identify backup vendors and contingency plans to reduce operational risk.

Required Skills & Education

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not mandatory. Procurement or supply chain certifications are an added advantage.
